
Tall Ships were in Duluth, July 10-13, 2025, for a seventh installment of the popular Festival of Sail and the Tall Ships Challenge® Race series . The first large event to feature the $30M renovation of the Duluth Seawall and new Harbor Plaza event space on Harbor Drive.
The popular festival encompassed the Duluth waterfront with an impressive fleet of majestic ships from far and wide. The initial line-up includes: General George Patton’s private Schooner “When-and-If,” Pride of Baltimore II, Inland Seas, Ernestina-Morrisey, St. Lawrence II (Kingston, ON), Abbey Road, Zeeto, Liberty Clipper, Schooner Charley, Alliance, Wonder and for the first time ever, tours of the William A. Irvin were included.
The event had something for everyone needing a Tall Ships fix; onboard tours, day-sails, and a grand parade of sail. The Duluth waterfront also ha a full complement of vendors, artisans, food, music, entertainment, craft beer garden and THC lounge.
