The LSMMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Lake Superior regional history and to the support of the Army Corps of Engineers Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center which is located in historic Canal Park in Duluth, Minnesota.
Your membership supports the display of artifacts found at the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center, the continued collection of other acquisitions and recording the oral and written history of the maritime industry. Past and continued support helped create and continues to support the Lake Superior Maritime Collection archives located at the University of Wisconsin-Superior Jim Dan Hill Library.

The Nor'Easter is a quarterly newsletter for members of the Lake Superior Marine Museum Association. You can also purchase back issues of the Nor'Easter from from the association for $4.00 each. If requests exceed three copies, contact the association to learn of additional shipping costs.
The Nor'Easter comes out the third month of each quarter. Content or photo submissions should be sent by the second month of each quarter.

LSMMA members are invited to attend special events including our entertainment programs, field trips, the Gales of November benefit as well as the annual dinner meeting. In addition, members are automatically entered into our Spring Break Up drawing for an all-expense paid trip aboard the Edwin H. Gott.

Finally, we encourage our members to take advantage of our recently updated web camera. Any time of day or night you can get a live view of ships entering our pier from the great lake complete with sound. Another web camera facing the harbor captures ships leaving our port.
